The place for passionate cooks
I was out walking with a group of friends yesterday raving about the 'Intermediate' couse I have just finished when one of the party challanged me to cook for a party of six. Thought I was on safe grounds as I cannot sit more than one in my small place. 'Well', she said,'come and do it at my place'. I've agreed but not till post xmas. This should give me time to practice the menu.
So be careful how much you recommend Ashburton! Seriously thou it was a great couse and at least two of my colleges and the local butchers wife are considering attending

I am looking into it at the moment (hence coming on here) did you complete the course for pleasure or career opportunities?
Hi,
I did the course for pleasure. The tutors were exceptional and most had worked for the big names. For example the chief who taught us pastry, bread, and pasta was Rick Stein's pasty chief.
I love cooking and for me this course was much more than I expected.
All the staff were very frendly and more than helpful and probably more important for me there was a lot of fun.
I intend to do the other 2 weeks over the next year.
BTY I'm doing the dinner in the spring, got the menu sorted just need to practice now
