The place for passionate cooks

Hi all,

Having used a Blowtorch on the recent course I attended at Ashburton i've decided its about time I finally bought myself one as been thinking about it for many months!

What sort would you advise? Ive seen the gift set things but the blowtorches look pretty poor in those...

Thanks in advance

Phil

Hi Phil

We sell the Masterclass Kitchen Blowtorch, which are good, especially for home use.

I believe the ones that we actually use in the kitchens are professional ones (and therefore ALOT more expensive!)

Many thanks

Anicca

The professional ones are quite cheap, you can get the head here

http://www.dentonscatering.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&... for £15

and the canisters for about £2 here-

Thanks for the replies. I had heard that the masterclass one was almost impossible to refill so was looking at one that fit onto canisters.

The one you have suggested Peter looks ideal - thanks :-)

I have 3 different ones I use for plumbing, all from B&Q, they all work well except for the pro plumber one which is very hot, but can be more precise.
