I've taken two courses at the Cookery School, both of which were fantastic (hi Joe and Stuart!). The courses gave me much more confidence in my cooking ability, and soon after completing them, I decided to follow my dream of writing a cookery book. I'm thrilled to say that it has just been published - here's a photo of the cover:

Lundy Cookery: Recipes for a small island presents more than 60 international recipes designed for self-catering visitors to Lundy Island, a place very close to my heart. Set in the Bristol Channel off the Devon coast, Lundy remains peaceful and unspoilt. The island has only one shop (which is remarkably well stocked) and the kitchens in the self-catering accommodations lack certain basic equipment (such as scales), so the book was written with those constraints in mind. All the recipes can be made using ingredients that are regularly available in the island's shop and measurements are specified in volumes rather than weights, so that all ingredients can be measured in a Pyrex jug.

I had a great time writing the book and am very keen to do another. I'll keep you posted!
Wow! That is great to hear Ilene - congratulations on becoming a food writer. Is the book in the shops or on amazon?
Hi Dominic! It's available in the Lundy Island shop and also online from Corydora Press (http://www.corydora.co.uk).
And an excellent book it is too!
