Sorry for the repetition, but I originally wrote this in the blogs not forum. Let me try this again! Perhaps much ado about nothing but I am making several onion tarts for a large dinner party and want to prep in advance. Onions sliced and now I want to caramelize, store and use in a half day. Any problem with this idea? If not, how best to reheat the onions before I spread on the pastry? Or do I need to bother reheating, just spread cool onion mixture on pastry then throw in the oven?
Again apologies for putting this in the wrong place, but look forward to anyone's ideas.
