- Hi Emily,
Fried garlic, thyme and then onions in 4 lugs of olive oil. Recipe said to cover and cook for 4-5 minutes and then remove cover and reduce (but I didn't do that bit).
Made the bread from our basic recipe and stirred in the onion mix before second proving.
That's it basically.... Not sure how I made it cake-like... was my first ever bread attempt!

- Just got back - it was amazing! Feel sorry for the poor sod who has to peel the quails' eggs though... And I also now know where Darrin gets all his ideas from - Rik's dessert had a chocolate cage and hazelnuts with spiky caramel bits on!
