Comment by Claire Lawry on December 8, 2011 at 17:07 Try getting it from the cake decorating company. Use isomalt like you would sugar. It's an inverted sugar. It comes in pellet form. It has the cooking properties of sugar, but it's not sweet, so it's a good replacement if you want to do savoury things. Warning!: Don't taste it! It's a laxative!

I think you can buy it from MSK ingredients they have quite a comprehensive website but to be honest I have never used isomalt before.
